The Early Rockers

This is a music assignment due within the next two weeks on your blogs. From the list of early rock and rollers, pick two, do an internet search on them, listen to their music and blog them. Your blog should contrast and compare their lives and their music in your own words. Why did you pick the two that you picked? Which song do you like the best from each and why do you like it? Of the two artists you picked, which do you believe to be the most influential for American music?

The list:

Beach boys
Big Bopper
Bill Haley
Buddy Holly
Buddy Knox
Byrds
Carl Perkins
Chubby Checkers
Chuck Berry
Elvis Presley
Everly Brothers
Fats Domino
Four Aces
Frankie Avalon
Isaac Hayes
James Brown
Jan and Dean
Jerry Lee Lewis
Jimmy Rodgers
Johnny Maestro
Leslie Gore
Little Richard
Lloyd Price
Neil Sedaka
Pat Boone
Paul Anka
Richie Valens
Ricky Nelson
Roy Orbison
Shangrilas
Troggs
Turtles
Ventures
Wanda Jackson

Your choices must be approved by me prior to starting your research. This will insure that all early rockers will have their day in blogdom.

Select your two artists and let me know. The quicker you do this the better your chances of getting the two you like.
