| First Day of Class |
It was good to see all of you on Monday. I have tried to get a computer lab for this Thursday's class but was unsuccessful - no rooms available. I have therefore, submitted a memo for the following two Monday's to be our lab time. I will let you know exact location on Thursday.
In the first class, I gave an overview about how this class was set up. Here is the divisions which I have set up for the movie viewings and a few things that all Americans know for sure:

I think I can safely say that the majority of Americans would be familiar with these topics. The movies you will be watching deal with the topics as well as others.
Writing of movies, you will be given your first movie to watch on Thursday and we will go over how to watch it and what kind of comments I expect.
